who am I…..

Hi, my name is Angelina Richardson. Those that know me hiii, thanks for coming by and checking in. Those that don’t, let me give you a run down.

I started self Ima8e at the end of 2020, I just graduated college with a bfa in fashion design and a minor in sustainability. Peak pandemic I was in search for my big girl fashion job, which I found and actually hated…so I started to make handmade decoration  accessories and post them on my etsy while I drove around for DoorDash. I did my first fashion show two years after that right after my father passed away in a city five hours away from me. I was pushing hard for this thing to work but it just wasn’t.

So I changed my business to astrology fashion, when I started I recruited two lovely ladies of divine social which help me actually put together a business plan/ideas, another piece to the puzzle. My grandmother, pictured above, used to do astrology readings with the neighbors, dabbled in tarot, and sewed basically everything under the sun. I feel like a big part of my journey comes from her. As I developed my brand further and put things together, it didn’t feel like me. So I stepped back and focused on creating again.  I did a different fashion show, an astrology based collection! There was still a spark there, but after doing now three shows it still doesn’t fully feel right.

I’ve tailored, corporate fashion, secondhand, thrifting and up cycling, secondhand clothing vintage shops, etsy, but nothing stuck. I wanted something more than that. In between all my brand creating I did tarot reading here and there, I studied more astrology, and created more for me.

As a Virgo stellium ( 3 or more planets  in the same sign) , I naturally give advice to people, if they like it or not (lol). Virgos are ruled by Mercury which is the planet of communication. Peoples seeked this out from me often, and would ask for tarot more than not at this point. I knew this is something I can’t run away from, but it feels like I have gained some infinity stones a long the way. Welcome to your new self ima8e!
